Xante Pear Liqueur
Tasting Notes: Xante is an increasingly popular drink. It is a pear cognac, for which pears coming from the Flamish garden region north of Liege are blended with a cognac of extraordinary finesse. The French distillery Maison Heinrich, in Alsace, distills the cognac by using different grapes: Bons Bois, Fins ois and Petite Champagne. The cognac is aged for three years in oak barrels, so that the result is a light drink, extremely fruity and not too oaky. It can be drunk straight, on the rocks or as an ingredient of many cocktails.
