Aromas of nutmeg and red pepper with notes of violets and sweet spices. The palate is intense, with smooth, friendly tannins and pleasing, well-balanced acidity that leads to a refreshing finish.
90% Carmenere/10% Petit Verdot). The vineyard is located in the Aconcagua Valley, planted mainly on alluvial soil. The grapes were hand-picked, crushed and fermented in stainless steel. Alcoholic fermentation was carried with twice daily pumpovers. Because the grapes are from different blocks of the same vineyard, post-fermentation maceration time varied from 10- 26 days depending on the development of each lot. Aged 8 months in French and American oak.
