Blackish plum in color with an aroma of ripe blackcurrents and plummy fruit with toasty oak aromas balanced by soft, ripe tannins. On the palate, good structure with soft, clean finish. According to the Wine Spectator: "Open-knit, with sweet grape, plum and toast flavors and a round, slightly jammy finish. Drink now." (03/07)
