Louis Latour Pommard 2011
Tasting Note Of a garnet colour, the Pommard 2011 reveals a nose of black cherries and spices, accompanied by notes of cloves. It is round in the mouth with lovely aromas of red berries and wonderful, persistent tannins. Food Pairing Duck confit - beef "Bourguignon" - mature cheeses.
A refined version, evoking cherry, strawberry and spice flavors, with a touch of mineral. Harmonious and approachable now, though this should improve with moderate aging. Best from 2015 through 2024. 400 cases made.
